:: Emmet Park Pavilion Restoration A small but proud view of the restoration of the Emmet Park Pavilion, which shows before and after pictures. It was a project of the Ontario Chapter’s Liaison Director Carl Chang, which now completed leaves us feeling filled with pride of its history being maintained. |

:: Lawrence Burke S.J. New Building The groundbreaking ceremony for the three story building honoring Archbishop Lawrence Burke. Many dignitaries including the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Georgian Bruce Golding, attended it. The three story building with 12 classrooms will be located just south of Emmet Park and between the Adrian Ashton Chaplain Hall and the Biology Lab. It is expected to be completed by December 2009 and will house all O’Hare students during the O’Hare restoration |
:: O'Hare Hurricane Damage Pictures reflecting damage to the O’Hare by recent hurricanes and ants damage. Two of the forms including 5A are closed due to damage, and will not be open until the planned restoration of O’Hare is completed. |

:: Archbishop Burke In his final mass as Archbishop of Kingston, Most Rev. Lawrence Burke, passes The “Crozier” a pastorial staff to Most Rev. Donald J. Reece, on his installation as archbishop. He is a Jamaican who spent 26 years as a bishop in Antigua and has been a member for years of the Roman Catholic Council on Ecumenical Affairs in the Vatican. |

:: ICHS 150th At the Cathedral, ICHS celebrated with the first event in the Sesquicentennial anniversary year of the Immaculate Conception High and Preparatory School Sunday, January 13, 2008, and right after the festivities continued with lunch. Congratulations Immaculate. |
:: Stella Maris Blessings being given, and awards issued to the physically challenged athletes at Stella Maris. Lorna Bell, executive director of Jamaica’s Special Olympics, an organization which allows physically challenged athletes to compete on the world stage, issues praise to them. |
